ART AND ECOLOGY ARTIST RESIDENCY
April 2016 Santa Lucia, Vejer de la Frontera
Theme:
Exploring the inner
and outer landscapes of the honeybee
The honeybee inhabits both the dark space of the interior of it’s ‘womb’/nest space and the sun-filled outer, geographical landscape where it forages. This residency was a call for artistic responses on the relationship between the inner and outer landscapes that the honeybee inhabits, that we inhabit. One of the main questions that arose was ‘How do we want to live together?’
